RTU class 4&5 and MVTS Pro. Release 1.6.0

Key new features of the release 1.6.0:

Traffic Switch:
- Improved mechanism for identifying codecs arriving in SDP. Now codecs, defined in line with the standard, will be identified not only by payload type, but also by default fmtp and rtpmap for such codecs. New feature rises the share of successful calls.
- Load balancing: now the license management node is able to dynamically distribute call licenses based on their load. New feature allows more efficient usage of equipment and of license capacity.
- Some configuration parameters of the SS7 Call Agent node may now be changed without node restart, enabling to apply new settings without tearing of active calls.
- Support of G.726 codec.

RTU Class 4 (MVTS Pro):
- CDR records now show information on late and lost media packets, as well as on the size of the jitter buffer not only for calls with codec conversion, but also for calls with proxying but without conversion. The feature allows closer control over the QoS.
- The network zone, from where the call arrives, is now taken into account during call simulation for IP calls. Now it is possible to imitate calls from equipments with same IP addresses but different network zones.

RTU Class 5:
- “Dial Me” command in the IVR service. The feature is implemented within evolution from Auto Attendant to Personal IVR with preservation of the current functionality.
- API-aided fax sending under the subscriber's account.
- The tab “Prompts for Disconnect Codes” enables audible comments for different disconnect reason codes. Now it is possible to configure playing of various prompts depending on the received disconnect codes.
- Putting the other party on hold by pressing the HOLD button on the telephone set launches playback of the Music on Hold.

The release 1.6.0 successfully passed two stages of verification. First it was tested in our labs in the course of two months. Then we continued testing with the help of several our clients, who installed the pre-release 1.6.0 at their premises. Two stages of testing confirmed dependability of the new version.
